HANDOUTS:
NCC NEWS:
- Volunteer pin for those who volunteer at gatherings, register in person at
the gathering or pre-register online.
- NCC elections...new officers will be elected to assume office at the
beginning of 2004. A letter must be sent in to nominate someone else for
office. Johnn will collect letters and submit them.
- Four pins available for purchase: 2003 Is it Raining, 2002 Jack's Umbrella
Shop, 10th Anniversary Logo, 1994 Convention. Contact John to place your
order.
JUST DUCKY NEWS:
- New items are steadily coming in. Just received a large shipment
which included Halloween. Just Ducky will be contacting those that had
pre-orders.
- Auction Items - see handout. More news coming soon.
DUCKY 56ers NEWS:
- Social Committee (Michelle Heatherly) - possible progressive dinner for
Halloween timeframe, Dee suggested ghost tour also for Halloween timeframe and
Wendi suggested the Scavenger Hunt in the NCC newsletter.
- Products (Bill Antonitis, not in attendance) - pins, pins, pins! Pin
collecting vests available through the internet at
http://www.scrubsusa.com/pintradersvest.html. Rich will also look
into vests through Holy Cow.
- 2004 Gathering (Kirk Wyllie) - Holiday Inn International contract signed
and everything is in full swing ahead. Hotel reservations are $99 per
night and the gathering is $156 including meals and everything.
- Picnic - August 12th at Cynthia Kasdorf's house. Club will provide
the hot dogs, hamburgers, pop and beer. Everyone else to bring a dish.
- Question was raised if we wanted to continue meetings throughout the
summer and there was not a strong enough vote for it so there will continue to
be no meetings June, July and August.
