January 14, 2003 Meeting

NCC NEWS:

• The NCC Board of Directors has voted to waive the 2003 dues for all club and associate members who were in good standing during 2002.
• Our club is looking for a new NCC rep, as Jerry will be resigning from this position.

DUCKY 56ers NEWS:

• A decision was made to add money originally collected for the Christmas dinner to the charity fund.
• Shirts are available.  Also, Holy Cow has our logo on file so you can get any other item you want with the club logo!
• Housewalk for members only will be on Sunday January 19th.  Start out meeting at Just Ducky or Al & Joanne Olson's house between 1-1:45.  Proceed to Darlene & Paul Rossock's house between 2:30-3:15.  Then end up at Bill Novak's house between 3:45-4:30.
• Housewalk for all was held Saturday January 11th and was a huge success!  We had 253 paid walkers, or I should say drivers, up from last year's total of 220.
• Catrina and Candy specialize in setting up displays for $60 per hour.  See Rich for more details.
• Adam is selling his entire Dickens collection.  10% discount if you purchase entire collection.  Rich has a masterlist with photos.
• Member dues are due, see Pat if you have not already paid.

JUST DUCKY NEWS:

• Orders are being accepted for all new pieces.
• Courtesy hold will be limited to 30 days. 

DEPT 56 NEWS:

• New product line called Hot Properties, feature Barbie house and Dracula's mansion.

Demo: 

• Club is looking for volunteers to host display demos, make and take its, etc.
• Pictures and detailed descriptions of all new pieces were distributed to groups broken down by product lines.
