Meeting
DUCKY 56ers NEWS:
- Wendi Clark is stepping down from Secretary, Terri Gelz will be taking her
place.
- Website hosting to be looked into.
- Request for new ideas for the Newsletter and website.
- Treasurer Pat Jelinek is on vacation and Carol Newton will be filling in
for her. Please pay your membership dues if you have not already done
so.
- Holiday Housewalk was a huge success! Total of 287 tickets were sold, 2
given free to Ronald McDonald House. For next year: advertise early,
more publicity, possibly change time from 1-7 to 12-6, send mailing to past
participants, advertise in Brandon's flyer
- Halloween Housewalk, open to the public, was decided upon for October
16th. Proceeds to Ronald McDonald House.
- Two more articles were written featuring club members. A copy will
be added to the Club Scrapbook.
- The club unanimously agreed on ordering the larger logo pins. The
cost to members will be $2 and pins will be sold at gatherings starting with
the Chicago 2004 for $5.
- If you haven't already, sign up for the Chicago 2004 gathering, it will be
a blast! Day passes will be available but they will cost more at the
door and you will not receive a goodie bag.
- Ron Blazek has offered assistance with electrical problems. You can

DEPARTMENT 56 NEWS:
- Judith Price (aka Ms. Lit Town) retired effective January 2, 2004
JUST DUCKY NEWS:
- Please fill out order forms for new pieces. Brandon is going to do
limited purchasing and you will only be guaranteed a piece if you pre-order.
- Don't forget club nights all accessories are 20% off. Does not
include dept 56 people.
