Dues for Ducky 56ers expired on December 31, 2005.  Dues are currently due and are $15 per family/household.

 

Newsletters will be distributed with the Christmas housewalk.  The thought is that the newsletter may encourage new people to join our club.

 

NCC - NCC pins are still available.  See John Eckerle if interested.  The Ed the Snowman is in.  Jack Skeels, Founder of the NCC, 75, of Louisville, passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2005, at his home.

 

Social Committee - Looking for a chairperson and committee.

 

Just Ducky News - Retired Sale - 50% off!!  Misfit Sale - all misfit items on sale through end of January.  Christmas items are 75% off in the store.  Just Ducky has new winter hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday - 10 a.m.- 6 p.m., Thursday and Friday - 10-9 p.m.,
Saturday - 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday - 11 a.m. - 5: p.m.

 

Chicago 2006 Gathering - Still going strong!!  Seminars are currently being worked on.  There will be less seminars because the focus is on quality instead of quantity.

 

Holiday Housewalk - Volunteers are: Marilyn & Don Alton, Shirley & Dale McCollum, Michelle & John Eckerle, Madonna & Bill Tomsovic, and Bill Novak.

 

49 tickets sold to date, 75 postcards were sent out to previous housewalk participants as a reminder.  Members Only Housewalk will be held on January 22, 2006 from 1-5:00 p.m.

 

A very big thank you to Dawn and Scott Campbell for a wonderful presentation of the Department 56 New Releases.  As always, they did a great job!!

 

Raffle - we gathered approximately $125.  Thanks to Dawn and Scott's generosity, along with Just Ducky, we had several Raffle prizes and winners!
